Connecting

I wish this section allows building bridges to others, be it persons or organizations, who also aim at constructing a better world through soft power and serendipity.

From this perspective, I think that the gradual empowerment of all human beings, with special emphasis on women and girls, is important, allowing them to claim their dignity and freedom acting on an equal footing (in “Sorority”).

I also plea for joining efforts to create a sustainable world in which all human beings have their basic needs covered (access to drinking water, to sufficient and nutritious food, to a decent shelter, to basic education and to a justly paid for job), and  we achieve it by respecting and caring for our Mother Earth or Pachamama (under “Sustainability”).

Finally, none of this will be possible if we do not seek with all our strength and energy to lay the foundations for peace. As says the preamble to the United Nations General Assembly’s Resolution 70/1 of October 21, 2015, which enshrines the 2030 Agenda and its 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): “There can be no sustainable development without peace and no peace without sustainable development” (in “Pacifism”).
