In 2014, we realised that the chairs and armchairs in our village house – which had been with me all over the world since 1996 – needed a bit of TLC.
Seven international moves and heavy use had worn out the seat cushions.
So, we bought an upholstery stapler; some sturdy canvas fabric that would match the colours of the chair and armchair backs; and some upholstery piping to cover the staples… and we got to work!
