Supermoon in Algarrobo

On November 14, 2016, the moon approached the Earth much closer than usual, an event that had not taken place since January 1948 and which meant that we saw the largest supermoon in the last 70 years (14% larger and 30% brighter than a regular full moon).

A friend of a friend took a photo of that full moon rising on Algarrobo Beach in Malaga (Spain).

When I got that photo, I fell in love with that moon and I painted it with oils.

Here I show you the process and the result.
